Title TOOL & DIE MAKER – 1ST SHIFT
Summary

Full-time position available Monday – Thursday, 1st Shift 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for a Tool & Die Maker which is a highly skilled position that is responsible for producing tools, dies, and specialized parts and devices used on manufacturing machines.  Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Analyze print specifications, setup and operate machine tools to manufacture parts to specifications.  Maintains the maintenance and repair of existing tooling fixtures.Fit and assemble parts to make and repair, jigs, fixtures, gauges and hand tools.  Setup and operate machining centers. Builds and maintains dies for production.Designs tools, jigs, fixtures, and templates for use as work aids.  Verifies dimensions, alignment, and clearances of finished components using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators. Communicate with inter-departmental personnel for design input, fabrication and modification suggestions.   Ensure timely completion of tooling, fixtures and assemblies as to meet project objectives.

Skills / Experience:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Formal training in an apprenticeship program, vocational school, community or technical college is preferred; however, we will TRAIN the right candidate.  Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.  Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies or assemblies. Ability to verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time.  Must be able to frequently move about the department to access moving parts and machinery, etc.  Reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare production reports.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machinery, and visual inspection of parts.  May relocate metal parts and equipment weighing between .5 (1/2) pound up to 70 pounds at various times.  Finished parts may weigh up to 70 pounds.

Title SHOP JANITOR – 1ST SHIFT
Summary

Ace Manufacturing has a full time, first shift position working four ten hour days.  This position is responsible for keeping the facility in a clean and orderly condition.  The position performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and machines, and removing rubbish; is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels on all supplies needed to complete tasks; may perform routine maintenance activities; and notify management of the need for major repairs.

Skills and Experience – High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read directions and job requests; clean driving record; self-disciplined; self-motivated; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with others  as required.

Physical Requirements – Must be able to move about the work area to perform required cleaning duties with frequent bending and overhead reaching; will require employee to walk from one end of the facility to the other driving the floor scrubber for a long period of time; may relocate equipment weighing between 0.5 (1/2) pound up to 60 pounds at various times; must possess the manual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions and operate equipment.

Title MACHINE OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT
Summary

Ace Manufacturing has a full time, first shift position in the Ace Production department working M-TH, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. This position implements instructions as given by the Supervisor or Manager to include accurate and safe operation at the assigned work cell, proper ID stamping of all parts, completion of required paperwork, keeping area neat and performing routine maintenance on machines.

Skills and Experience includes high school diploma or equivalent. 2-5 years of previous manufacturing experience with ability to read blueprints, specifications, job orders, directions and able to use measuring instruments. Ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be dependable, self-disciplined and self-motivated.

Physical Requirements – Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time (90%); must be able to frequently move about the work area to perform required duties; frequently relocate metal parts and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Title HUMAN RESOURCES ASST./RECEPTIONIST
Summary

Job Summary

The Human Resources assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the front reception area (switchboard) as well as assisting with the human resources functions and duties. The HR assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, and employment. This position’s primary responsibility is to the front office switchboard. Excellent attendance is required.

Primary responsibility:

  • Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Must be able to talk to others to convey information effectively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Due to the role of this position, excellent attendance in this position required.
  • Ability to read directions and follow job requests.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate with other personnel is required.
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to adhere to the Company’s Vehicle Usage policy.

Title FRICTION MATERIALS MACHINE OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT
Summary

Full-time position for a Machine Operator to work, M-Th, 5:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. This position is responsible for Implement instruction as given by the Supervisor or Manager in the day to day operations of the Friction Materials department to include press operation, machining, loading / unloading furnaces, coining, packing parts, and mixing powders. Skills/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, graduate of a technical school in machine tooling is helpful, 2-5 years of previous machining experience, ability to read directions, job orders and specifications, excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate with other personnel is required. Self-disciplined and self-motivated, have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, as well as the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time, 90% of the time is spent standing. Must be able to frequently move about the cell (work space) to access moving parts and machinery, etc. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Manual dexterity to operate machines properly. Visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced. Frequently relocates metal parts and equipment weighing between .5 (1/2) pound up to 60 pounds at various times.   Will be required to complete a Pulmonary Function Test and be able to wear a respirator.
