Title TOOL & DIE MAKER – 1ST SHIFT
Summary

Full-time position available Monday – Thursday, 1st Shift 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for a Tool & Die Maker which is a highly skilled position that is responsible for producing tools, dies, and specialized parts and devices used on manufacturing machines.  Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Analyze print specifications, setup and operate machine tools to manufacture parts to specifications.  Maintains the maintenance and repair of existing tooling fixtures.Fit and assemble parts to make and repair, jigs, fixtures, gauges and hand tools.  Setup and operate machining centers. Builds and maintains dies for production.Designs tools, jigs, fixtures, and templates for use as work aids.  Verifies dimensions, alignment, and clearances of finished components using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators. Communicate with inter-departmental personnel for design input, fabrication and modification suggestions.   Ensure timely completion of tooling, fixtures and assemblies as to meet project objectives.

Skills / Experience:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Formal training in an apprenticeship program, vocational school, community or technical college is preferred; however, we will TRAIN the right candidate.  Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.  Ability to work from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies or assemblies. Ability to verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time.  Must be able to frequently move about the department to access moving parts and machinery, etc.  Reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare production reports.  Manual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machinery, and visual inspection of parts.  May relocate metal parts and equipment weighing between .5 (1/2) pound up to 70 pounds at various times.  Finished parts may weigh up to 70 pounds.

Title OUTSIDE SALES/PRODUCT TECH
Summary

 

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting the sales team with the implementation of annual sales plans by working in the field to help effectively grow sales within the heavy duty truck parts industry.  By doing so will contribute in such a way that enables the company’s sales goals to be met. Must be able to present the company’s products and services to current customers and prospects by utilizing various forms of demonstration (counter training, clutch clinics, professional proposals, and Power Points).

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Develop business relationships with and actively solicit business from customers in assigned territory within the heavy duty aftermarket industry.
  • Contact established customers on a regular schedule in addition to prospecting new opportunities.
  • Regularly contact and follow-up with prospective customers.
  • Maintain a current opportunities list and follow-up on all inquiries and leads. Provide report to supervisor on a monthly basis.
  • Assume responsibility to ensure all customers and prospects within assigned territory are aware of new programs, promotions, advertising material, and policies.
  • Work with existing customer base to train their employees on how to productively sell all Ace heavy duty aftermarket products.
  • Evaluate a basic warranty claim on customer site.
  • Assist customers with the warranty claim process, providing final evaluation report as applicable.
  • Work with manufacturer’s rep agency providing ride along assistance in the field.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with rep agencies within assigned territory.
  • Work with customers to ensure they are fully stocked with necessary products, catalogs, and marketing materials.
  • Know and understand the competition and their policies, pricing structure, distribution, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Supply necessary credit information on opportunities and existing customers as directed and perform collection follow-up calls when asked.
  • Responsible to keep supervisor informed of all competitive activity, effective sales programs, and customer reaction to company programs/policies.
  • Conduct clutch clinics to fleet distributors and their customers. Areas of training to include installation procedures, trouble shooting, application, failure analysis and warranty adjustments.
  • Assist in developing sales and training brochures and catalogs.
  • Assist in new product identification for development.
  • Assist in the development of annual sales plans.
  • Attend tradeshows and open house events.
  • Requires regular overnight travel within the United States (75%).  Some travel may include being on the road for a week or longer at a time.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

 Skills/Experience

  • Previous sales experience in heavy duty parts distribution is required.
  • Mechanical background with heavy duty trucks is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, email and the internet.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate persuasively both orally and in writing are required.
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and team player required.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide proof of car insurance.

 Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time.
  • Must be able to frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to position self to assist with installation of clutch parts on vehicles, as needed by the customer.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with customers and exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Occasionally moves audio/visual equipment and / or clutch parts weighing up to 75 pounds.

Title SHOP JANITOR – 2ND SHIFT
Summary

Ace Manufacturing has a full time, second shift position working M-TH, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM.  This position is responsible for keeping the facility in a clean and orderly condition.  The position performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and machines, and removing rubbish; is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels on all supplies needed to complete tasks; may perform routine maintenance activities; and notify management of the need for major repairs.

Skills and Experience – High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read directions and job requests; clean driving record; self-disciplined; self-motivated; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with others  as required.

Physical Requirements – Must be able to move about the work area to perform required cleaning duties with frequent bending and overhead reaching; will require employee to walk from one end of the facility to the other driving the floor scrubber for a long period of time; may relocate equipment weighing between 0.5 (1/2) pound up to 60 pounds at various times; must possess the manual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions and operate equipment.

Title PART-TIME MARKETING INTERN
Summary

Job Summary

Responsible to assist Marketing Manager with various tasks associated with marketing.  Primary focus will be to initiate social media interaction on company websites, Facebook pages, twitter, Instagram, etc. in effort to promote our companies and products.  May also assist with projects that include graphic design, photo/video editing, mailings, tradeshow preparations, and general office duties.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Will engage consumers, distributors, end users, and general public through social media interactions. Must keep interactions updated daily or weekly.

Summary

Job Summary

Ensure to provide excellent customer service to key accounts as assigned through phone, e-mail, chat, technical forum, etc. in timely and accurate manner.  Will also serve as liaison between customer support team, management, and customer in order to improve customer service and business productivity.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Complete support of key accounts as assigned. Duties to include, but not limited to:
    • Answer calls, chat, forum, and email and respond in a timely manner
    • Assist callers with product selection and troubleshooting.
    • Process orders from start to finish
    • Issue RMA’s; start/follow-up/respond
    • Handle invoice matters
    • Handle shipping matters
    • Document all activity in CRM – Customer Central
    • Reports: Run a variety of sales reports; provide to management and customers as needed.
    • Process literature requests
    • Occasionally provide field assistance; some travel required
    • Monitor back orders and provide update reports to customers

Title PRESS OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT
Summary

Press Operator position will work on the first shift, Monday – Thursday.  The successful candidate will operate a Press and be able to provide complete, accurate operation at assigned work cell, to include:matching of job packet to job control plans, SPC sheets. insert sheets, proper gauging–progressive gauges, micrometers, proper machine guarding  and job cards while providing legible and accurate paperwork.  Will perform stamping of all parts.  Job task must be performed “safely and satisfactorily”.  Immediate communication with supervisor to advise when job is close to complete, completion of job, part irregularity, quality problems, machine malfunction or breakdown, machine not making rate.  Purchase of personal tools as required by company policy.
