Job Summary

The Human Resources is responsible for the day-to-day management of the HR operations, managing and coordinating the implementation of services, policies, programs and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce through the Human Resources staff; reports to the Administrative Manager; assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.  Coordinates administration including reception and assists with the facilities security and upkeep.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management or equivalent career experience is required.
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of previous Human Resources experience preferred in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Paychex payroll and HR On-Line software required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to read directions and follow job requests.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate with other personnel.
  • Self-disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to adhere to the Company’s Vehicle Usage policy.
  • A criminal background check will be conducted.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time.
  • Must be able to frequently move about the work area to perform required duties.
  • Reading and writing ability to follow work instructions.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions and operate computer programs and office equipment.
  • May relocate products weighing between .5 (1/2) pound up to 60 pounds at various times.
